ABOUT ME

Anthony Wallace is a Toronto-based documentary cinematographer, field producer and filmmaker specializing in environmental, science and remote-location storytelling. With over a decade of experience, he has filmed across every province and territory in Canada, from remote wilderness and Arctic expeditions to offshore and underwater productions.

His recent work includes cinematography and field production for National Geographic Pristine Seas' Tasiujarjuaq & Weeneebeg: Bays of Life, camera work on Discovery's Deadliest Catch: Northern Edge, and documentary work for CBC's The Nature of Things. He is also a licensed drone operator in Canada and the United States.

Anthony's own films explore the relationship between people and the natural world. His latest short documentary, Replanting a Garden, follows Jamaican coral gardeners, fishers, scientists and sanctuary wardens restoring a reef after a devastating coral bleaching event. The film screened at Mountainfilm in Telluride and received Best Cinematography and the Viewers' Choice Award at GATFFEST in Jamaica.

Alongside his film work, Anthony is an award-winning composer for film and television and a sound artist.
